Due to popular demand of my tattoo work, i am no longer producing as wide a range of leatherwork. Pictavia leather will be focussed more on historical replica goods using our own home tanned bark tan deerskin for the finest work possible. Thank you.
Everyday Leathergoods
Modern leather items inspired by history, such as satchels, wallets, and sporrans.
These items are typicaly made from natural veg tanned cow and goatskin from the modern leather industry.
Pictish Clothing and Accessories
Pictish clothing, tattoos, and leather patches all inspired by Pictish history and stone carvings.
Living History
Museum replicas and historic leathergoods inspired by ancient artefacts, suitable for living history and reenactment.
These items are made from a mixture of cowhide and deerhide.
Scottish Deerskin
Our delux range of leathergoods are made with Scottish deerskin tanned with barks and acorns in the traditional manner.
These hides are sourced from the Woodland Tannery in Fife, very local to Pictavia. These hides are soft but strong, and full of character for a real unique look.
